The Lowveld Chamber of Business &
Tourism is a Section 21 Company with a Board of
Directors, supported by the Mbombela Municipal
Council and private sector establishments. It has
two operational divisions, namely Lowveld Business &
Lowveld Tourism. Each division has a Management
Committee managing the day-to-day functioning of the
organisation, while the divisions are managed by two
full time Managers, one for Business and one for
Tourism. Lowveld Tourism markets local business;
accommodation establishments and tourism products to
visitors and uses pro-active marketing tools to
attract more tourists to the Lowveld, while
endeavoring to increase the length of stay and
tourism spend. Branches operate in Nelspruit, White
River, Sabie and Cape Town, with a satellite office
in the Riverside Mall. Lowveld Tourism’s primary
objective is to provide information and to market
the region as a preferred tourist and business
destination.
Our Vision is for Lowveld Tourism to
become a unified, relevant and representative entity
for the Lowveld region of Southern Africa, that will
seek to identify, develop and promote economic
opportunities in the region and develop strong
relationships in the Tourism Industry, locally,
regionally and nationally. We strive to become the
preferred provider for tourism services in the
Lowveld Region and promote development of tourism,
which are Government led, Private Sector driven and
Community based.
